Green Shake (for the blender)

1 scoop wheat grass powder (optional)
2-4 cups spinach (I buy bulk spinach in the tubs and throw the whole tub in the freezer and use the loose frozen spinach leaves)
sliver of avocado (I take my avocados and cut them in fourths and bag them up and freeze them and throw them in that way.)
1-3 limes juiced (I like A LOT of lime)
1/2 English cucumber (these are the ones on the top section of the produce wrapped in plastic.  If they are not organic and certified non-pesticide I peel them)
Water to cover the ingredients
Ice to the consistency you like
optional sweetener (I use xylitol or stevia and a tiny bit goes a long way)

Blend until completely smooth. 

Helpful hints.  If your blender is not very powerful (I use a vita-mix and it's the bomb!) put in a couple cups of water and add your veggies one by one and blend
that way.  You can even alternate liquid and veg and then do ice at the end.  The key to this tasting like a key lime pie is to get the coldness and consistency
right.
