Healthy Chocolate!

Posted by Brittany Nelson

1 heaping cup pitted dates
1/2 cup coco powder (or raw cacoa powder)
2 T raw cacoa nibs
1 cup chopped walnuts
( I also add: 1 dash sea salt, cinnamon, tsp vanilla)

Throw in a super blender or food processor
Have to mix it for a while and scrape sides
Roll into small balls
Refrigerate

My kids love them.  They are very fudgey and don't taste "healthy" at all.  I sever them to a bunch of friends this weekend.  I am the most popular girl on the block thanks to Connie.

Also I made a bunch of variations:
1: for kids who don't like nuts; omit walnuts and add 1T coconut oil.
2: roll balls in unsweetened shredded coconut
3: add 1 T orange or rasberry extract
4:  replace walnuts with chopped peanuts and add 1 T natural peanut butter
